People tend to think of schools, hospitals and government buildings to have the best possible systems for protection against disruption. Those services might be back-up generators, security systems or even the simplest of flood monitoring devices.

Unfortunately, we learned the hard way this week that the Greenwich High School, in Greenwich, Connecticut didn’t have proper systems installed. Earlier this week when a hot water tank sprung a leak they found seven feet of water in the stairwell and enough damage to Greenwich High School. Eventually, school was back in session but science class is still being taught in the gymnasium until all damages can be repaired.
