The RSC-900 series wireless, app-driven plumbing leak detection solution just keeps getting better. We’re pleased to announce these new hardware options and software capabilities to provide you even greater installation and application flexibility.

In addition to its traditional LAN/Ethernet communication hub, the RSC-900 is now available with a Wi-Fi hub. This new hub does not require a hard-wired connection directly to your modem or router; it instead connects wirelessly to your existing Wi-Fi network. This can be a great solution for applications where a physical Ethernet connection isn’t feasible.

We recently announced that each RSC-900 hub now supports up to 64 wireless water sensors, actuators, and signal repeaters (maximum of 4 per system). This opens up the possibility of even wider areas of leak detection. A new software update will let you take even better advantage of that expanded coverage.

The RSC-900 app has evolved to support the creation of “Zones” to individually monitor and control multiple designated areas or plumbing subsections within a single system. If you have several actuators installed in different areas of a building, you no longer have to shut them all off in the event of a leak. You can instead isolate shut-off to the affected floor, unit, or room.
