RDT and FloodMaster salute Plumbing Manufacturers International (PMI) and the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry (UA) and their suppliers for donating their products, expertise and time to help the residents of Flint, MI in their time of great need.

According to this inspirational story appearing in MLive.com, hundreds of members of PMI and UA Plumbing Manufacturers International (PMI) recently flooded the streets of Flint to install donated faucets, water filters and other plumbing products in homes of residents affected by Flint’s water crisis.

The types of faucets donated by PMI and UA members included American Standard Inc., Fluidmaster, Delta Faucet Co., Kohler Co., Moen Inc., Speakman Co. and Viega. In addition, the Sate of of Michigan supplied water filters made by Brita.

Sometimes plumbers and their suppliers do more than fix leaks. Sometimes they change lives.
